Charges For Mediation Service

If you qualify for public funding, mediation is free at present.  If you do not qualify you can still use mediation but you will have to pay for the service.  You can find out if you qualify for free mediation at a meeting with the Mediator, at which you will receive general information about mediation and have the opportunity to discuss whether it can help you.

If you qualify for free mediation, all your mediation sessions and other work we undertake for you will be carried out without charge.

Charges for Private Clients

Initial assessment meeting (per person)                  £80

Mediation Sessions

Payment per person for each session, including a

written Statement of Outcome.

     Gross Annual Income 

     Up to £11,000                                                   £80 

     £11,001  -  £16,000                                         £110 

     £16,001  -  £20,000                                         £130 

     £20,001  -  £25,000                                         £150

     £25,001  -  £40,000                                         £170

     £40,001  -  £60,000                                         £190

     Over £60,000                                                  £210

Information meetings 

     Payment per hour regardless of the number of people           £65

NOTES

1.  If you do not return to mediation within 3 months of the initial assessment meeting or the last mediation session, we cannot guarantee to hold the fees at the level originally quoted.  Our normal practice is to close files after 3 months with no contact.

2.  If you are unable to keep an appointment the Centre must be notified at least 48 hours (2 working days) in advance, otherwise a cancellation fee of  £40  will be payable.

3.  All charges are inclusive of VAT at 15%.
